　　将国共化剑为犁，驻留在戈壁的沙漠上，为了这片土地而奋斗的故事搬上屏幕，铸成《化剑》。这部戏自开拍以来一直倍受关注，日前也将杀青。

　　刘向京和马剑琪在该剧中饰演夫妻，正如刘向京所说，演了一对情深夫妻，他们各自为对方着想，为对方付出。在过去的戏中，刘向京饰演了不同的角色，而在这部戏中，刘向京和马剑琪这对有着一些年龄悬殊的夫妻，却有着一段“相拥相爱”的经历。拍戏中，刘向京和马剑琪格外的投入，一天十几个小时的拍摄，他们为了每句台词和每个动作，反复在一起推敲。而在戏外，刘向京和马剑琪有着不少好玩的镜头：刘向京玩着电玩时，马剑琪在一旁专心地看关。或者两个对着镜头做鬼脸拍大头照，然后看着相机哈哈大笑。

　　对于戏中的他们，工作人员一直说着“夫妻情深”，并说这可能是该剧的很大一个亮点。刘向京则表示，这部剧剧情曲折，人物内心复杂，更能吸引观众的目光。
